The Bottleneck and Innovation Path of Today’s Ethnic Music

Authors:Meichuanzi Dai

Abstract

China’s unique multi-ethnic culture has nurtured ethnic music with different styles. In the historical development context, ethnic music reflects the national characteristics and national style with a unique perspective, showing the style of the times. However, with the rapid progress of the times, ethnic music has developed into a bottleneck period. Not only has it been influenced by foreign culture and trend music, but the backward concept has also become the embarrassment of development. In the new era and new mission, we should seize the opportunity, reform and innovate, and liberate the ethnic music from the inherent mode. Promote the collision in the music field, follow the trend of the times, advance with the times, and create a national treasure that is more in line with today’s aesthetic.
